 on the third day.* For You\, Almighty One\, have thereby restored the corr
 upted nature of all* and reopened the way to heaven\,* since You alone are
  gracious and You love mankind.\n\nThe just shall gather around me* when Y
 ou have been good to me.\n\nO Saviour\, You have absolved the penalty of d
 isobedience\,* committed through the tree of Eden\,* by willingly being na

  carried upon clouds by the command of God.* They gathered around you pure
  body\, O Source of Life\,* and kissed it with reverence.* As for the most
  sublime powers of heaven\, * they came with their own leader* to escort a
 nd to pay their last respects to the most honourable body* that had contai
 ned Life itself.* Filled with awe\, they marched together with the apostle
 s in silent majesty\,* professing to the princes of heaven in a hushed voi
 ce:* Lift up your gates and receive\, with becoming majesty\,* the Mother 
 of the Light that never fades\,* because\, through her\, salvation was mad
 e possible for mankind.* She is the One upon whom no one may gaze\,* and t
