\nI have waited for You as You have commanded\; my soul patiently relies o

O Christ who loves mankind\,* almighty Jesus\, Saviour of our souls.\n\nFr
om the morning watch until night* let Israel trust in the Lord.\n\nLet all
the worldly and supernatural order* now be moved to praise Christ our God
 * who has dominion over both the living and the dead\;* for\, divinely tra
nsfigured\, He stood on Tabor* in the presence of the first heralds of the
law and grace\,* as He\, the Saviour of our souls\, was well pleased to d
o.\n\nTone 1\, Podoben “Joy of the ranks of heaven…”\n\nFor with the
Lord there is mercy\, and with Him there is plentiful redemption\;* and H
e shall redeem Israel from all its iniquities.\n\nHaving served the Word b
lamelessly\, O venerable one\,* you were offered to the Lord as a sacrific
e of sweet savour\, consumed by material fire\;* and you have been counted
worthy of the joy of heaven\,* where you pray in behalf of those* who hon
 our you\, O Lawrence.\n\nPraise the Lord\, all the nations\;* proclaim His
glory\, all you people.\n\nHaving laid yourself up as a treasure for the

sfigured\, O Lord\,* and the Father bore witness to You before Your crucif
ixion\,* and the mountain became like to the heavens\,* You were covered w
ith a cloud as with a tent.* In that place were Peter\, James\, and John\,
 * for they were to be with You also at the time of Your betrayal\,* that\,
beholding Your wonders\,* they might not fear Your sufferings. Grant that
we also may honour them in peace\,* for the sake of Your great mercy.\n\n

virtues\,* that with them we too may be counted* worthy of grace.\n\nTabo

 y of the grace of the threefold Sun.\n\nTone 4\, Glory… Now…\n\nTaking
Your disciples up to a lofty mountain before Your crucifixion\, O Lord\,*
You were transfigured before them\,* desiring in Your lovingkindness and
