 rom corruption\, we hymn You\, our God who was crucified in the flesh.* Ha
 ve mercy on us!\n\nHave mercy on us\, O Lord\, have mercy on us\; for we h
 ave been filled with shame\; our soul is all too full of the mockery of th
 e rich\, of the contempt of the proud.\n\nYour martyrs\, О Lord\, did not
  deny You nor depart from Your commandments.* By their supplications have 
 mercy on us.\n\nTone 2\, Glory…\n\nWith a voice of joy and an exclamatio
 n of psalmody* let us hymn the martyr Marina\;* for she cast down to the e
 arth the falsehood of idolatry* and manfully trampled the adverse foe unde
 r her feet.* Wherefore\, in dying she has taken wing to the heavens\,* bea
 ring a crown upon her head and crying aloud:* “I desire You\, O my Bride
 groom\,* and having the love of desire\, I have committed my flesh to the 
 fire for You\,* that I may dwell in Your everlasting mansions\,* where the
